Our Story

The Founding of Elevate H.E.R. Worth

  • Elevate H.E.R. Worth was born from a shared vision between two women on a mission: Ashley Wynn-Grimes and Wendie Veloz.
  • As entrepreneurs, healers, and advocates, Ashley and Wendie met at a business accelerator in Fall of 2023. They quickly decided to meet for tea and by the third meeting the idea was brewing.
  • Intuition told Wendie she needed to reach out to Ashley and propose an event to connect with women who saw the need for a reset, healing, and clarity in both their professional and personal lives.
  • Recognizing the importance of community and enjoying the vibe of having a business bestie, Ashley quickly jumped on board. By November the idea for Elevate H.E.R. Worth was born. H.E.R. standing for Holistic Energy Reset.
  • In those early conversations, Ashley and Wendie recognized they both experienced firsthand the burnout and isolation that can lead one to choose entrepreneurship. And with other coaches, the push to hustle or sell your high-ticket offer vs. living in flow and enjoying your journey as an entrepreneur. Both can make you money, one burns you out further.

  • Together, Wendie & Ashley set out to create a sanctuary where women could not only grow their businesses but also build meaningful, supportive connections. Combining their passions for business strategy, holistic healing, and community building, they launched Elevate H.E.R. Worth—a safe, powerful space designed for women entrepreneurs to thrive.
  • The inaugural event, an intimate retreat for 15 women was a success. Women said “it was just what I needed at the time.” Held at Black Rock Center for the Arts, the entrepreneurs attending the retreat came from as far away as California and Texas and ranged from nonprofit executives to brand new entrepreneurs in multiple sectors.
  • Elevate H.E.R. Worth continues to plan and host events for women in business to find clarity, connect to self, and connect with a thriving community full of abundance and acceptance.

Ashley Wynn-Grimes

Ashley Wynn-Grimes is a trailblazer in the world of holistic healthcare and entrepreneurship. As a registered nurse, author, and founder of Cannabis Nursing Solutions, Ashley merges her medical background with holistic healing to help entrepreneurs realign their wellness with their business success.

Her deep understanding of self-care, health, and entrepreneurship fuels her passion for guiding women to prioritize their well-being while pursuing ambitious business goals. Ashley’s book, Stigmatized, opened doors for women to embrace cannabis as a health solution, and her advocacy has reshaped conversations around health and wellness in business.

Ashley’s leadership at Elevate H.E.R. Worth focuses on offering practical strategies that intertwine holistic healing, breaking barriers, and living in flow.

Wendie Veloz

Wendie Veloz is a social impact strategist and executive coach, healer, and founder of Wendie Veloz Enterprises, LLC  where she specializes in creating sustainable solutions for social challenges. With over 20 years of experience, Wendie has dedicated her career to empowering individuals and communities through strategic planning, social justice, and holistic healing.

Wendie specializes in transforming the relationship between small businesses and nonprofits through Corporate Social Responsibility Programs. As an executive coach, Wendie enjoys helping entrepreneurs and community partners find clarity through her signature process, Idea Surgery.

Wendie also speaks and trains on sustainability for impact organizations across the U.S. Wendie also hosts Social Impact Level Up Podcast empowering social entrepreneurs & nonprofit leaders to transcend capitalism and grow world-changing ideas.

As a co-founder of Elevate H.E.R. Worth, Wendie’s passion for personal and business alignment shines through. Her experience working with nonprofits, businesses, and social justice organizations provides the perfect foundation for helping entrepreneurs build purpose-driven, sustainable businesses.

Wendie’s unique approach combines project management, wellness, and thought leadership to create empowering experiences for women in business.
