Holding space for women to heal and connect is a core part of each Elevate H.E.R Worth experience. As we host more events and connect more women around this concept, it becomes clearer exactly what is needed.
Some women simply want a supportive group of people outside the people they typically interact with every day (spouses, kids, parents, etc.) Others might be at the verge of giving up and feeling overwhelmed in their businesses.
Women who attend our events need motivation to show up authentically and move forward on the journey instead of giving up. They desire renewed energy to invest in themselves and their businesses.
What is HallowTea?
As a theme, HallowTea is simple. A tea party on Halloween. Except Halloween fell on an inconvenient day for a party so instead HallowTea was booked on 11-2-24 at Black Rock Center for the Arts in Germantown, MD.
As an Elevate H.E.R Worth experience, HallowTea represents a spooky high-tea experience where women invested in their businesses can instead invest in themselves, have fun, and invest in other women-owned businesses.
HallowTea blends an afternoon/high-tea experience with a business development networking event. Centering the event around things women enjoy, connection, chatting, snacking, and shopping made it a rich experience to support women-owned businesses by strategically selecting vendors and speakers.
The Transformation You Get at an Elevate H.E.R Worth Experience
The feedback we typically receive is “I didn’t know I needed this.” which says a lot about women in business. We are typically worried about so many external things that we don’t make enough room for ourselves.
We also tend to hear that we’re so used to operating in silos or in a male-centered world that finding a group of women or friends to support us can be challenging.
Elevate H.E.R. Worth experiences battle these two barriers by giving women a solid half-day retreat that is centered around building self connection. Additionally, attendees get connections to women in business for support.

HallowTea Uplifts DMV Women-Owned Businesses
Leaving the event inspired, the wonderful women who attended HallowTea immediately went home and made content. One of our speakers, Maria Pia Mecklemberg challenged the Elevate H.E.R. Worth community to show up authentically and consistently in video through the #leadershipinvideo challenge.
